Team Secret: Master of the throw

Going into this year’s DOTA 2 International there was one team on everyone’s lips. A team of superstars; previous International winners and some of the most skilled and feared players in the world. They had the captain, they had the tactics and they had the skill and swagger to cause damage to every single team in the competition. Team Secret came into the tournament hot favourites but, after a loss to the Chinese team eHome, found themselves in the bottom half of the draw and up against VP from Russia.
After losing the first game Team Secret roared back in the second and comfortably took the game to level the series 1-1. However in the final match they choked; their two youngest players fought valiantly and performed well, but the more experienced players on the side really struggled under the pressure. They lost that final game and the favourites, both with the bookies and with the fans, were on their way home.
