Recently, a lot of older games are being remastered. This meaning the are updating the technology being used. So the quality of the game will be better and the controls may be slightly more difficult. However, does this really mean the game is better than the original?
In my own opinion, no. Remastered games are not better than the originals. I have played crash bandicoot racing and a trilogy on the PlayStation and the remastered version on the Nintendo switch. I personally prefer the original version. Yes, bot of the games are similar, however, to me it does not feel the same. The games just seem slightly different.
This does not mean that all games are like this. For example, Spyro is another game which has been remastered. This game has stayed relatively similar. The only difference being the picture quality is much higher. Therefore making your gaming experience more enjoyable.
