The Grand theft Auto series has been an incredible success over the past decade. From humble beginnings on the PC and the original Playstation as a top down game about driving fast and killing people the game has evolved over the years into one of the most successful game series of all time. Not only has the game moved from Playstation to 3DS, to Vita and Xbox over the years, but it has also shifted from that classic top down perspective into a fully three dimensional world, winning countless awards for its satirical depiction of a fiction United States.
The latest in the series, Grand Theft Auto 5, has set records in sales across numerous platforms. The game did away with the more serious tones of the fourth game and went back to the series insane roots. Featuring three main protagonists that encapsulate each of the previous games, and each are one element of the classic mobster fantasy.
