This is unprecedented. I have never seen any company, for any games, do what Warner Bros have done. Arkham Knight, the latest entry in Rocksteady’s Batman series, launched to great reviews across consoles; it looked gorgeous, played well and set a bar for open world games. The game then came out on PC a few weeks later. There were problems.
The game was unplayable for many on PC – so many issues, so many problems and technical issues abound. People complained, people wanted refunds and, in an unprecedented move, Warner Bros pulled the game from sale and refunded all purchases. The game then launched again recently; but problems were still there. The company now is offering more refunds for every purchase of Arkham Knight on PC until the end of the year.
