Risks of buying Second Hand Games

Many major games providers sell second hand games, but are they worth the risk? Second hand games are likely to have scratches, and whilst they may work at the time of purchase, another scratch could become problematic, and not all providers will give you the same warranty.

Usually with a new game you can return it when it is not working, but you’re bound to run into more issues if it was broken, and for the money you get back, and it can make it hardly seem worth it. The temptation of second hand games can be immense, the difference in prices is actually quite substantial, and you may find it works perfect, and perhaps includes the manual.

Recently second hand games are slightly less popular, and one of the reasons is because games come with online codes, and they are not redeemable at a second attempt. In order to get an online code (and this is not for all games) is to buy the game from new. If you want to avoid any problems we would suggest that you do not purchase any second hand video games.
